Our Program
A thoughtfully structured two-hour enrichment session, held twice weekly, designed for children ages 4–6.
Each gathering balances foundational academics, hands-on exploration, and meaningful peer interaction — within a calm and intentionally guided setting.
What a Session Includes
Every session is thoughtfully designed with rhythm, purpose, and balance.
Each 2-hour session allows children enough time to settle into learning, explore concepts deeply, and transition between activities without rush — supporting focus, confidence, and meaningful engagement.
Children engage in:
• Guided literacy foundations (phonemic awareness, early reading, vocabulary development)
• Hands-on numeracy exploration (number sense, patterns, problem-solving)
• Fine motor development and practical life skills
• Inquiry-based STEM experiences
• Small-group collaboration and guided peer interaction
We emphasize concrete learning experiences that build deep understanding — not surface memorization.
Montessori-Style Foundations
This includes:
• Hands-on materials
• Independence within structure
• Respectful guidance
• Real-world problem-solving
• Calm, prepared learning spaces
Children are encouraged to think, explore, and take ownership of their learning in developmentally appropriate ways.
Our approach draws from Montessori-style principles while maintaining flexibility for homeschool families.
Academic Preparation Without Pressure
Little & Wise supports strong foundational skills that prepare children to:
• Continue confidently in homeschool settings
• Transition smoothly into traditional schooling if desired
• Develop focus, independence, and early academic confidence
We prioritize depth of understanding and skill development over rushing through content.

Ages: 4–6 (JK & SK)
Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Time: 9:30–11:30 AM or 10:00 AM–12:00 PM (Final timeslot will be determined among enrolled families)
Location: The imagination hive, 700 Nipissing Rd, Unit 12, Milton
Calendar: School-year aligned
Parents remain on-site during program hours.
Spots are intentionally limited to preserve the quality and calm of the environment.

Fall Term: September 8 – December 17, 2026
Winter Term: January 5 – March 11, 2027

Holiday Dates:
Winter Break: December 21, 2026 – January 1, 2027
March Break: March 15 – 19, 2027
There are no classes on statutory holidays or scheduled school breaks.
Our Learning Space
Classes are held in a carefully selected multipurpose space in Milton, Ontario. The exact location is finalized based on the needs, accessibility, and convenience of enrolled families to ensure a comfortable and practical learning environment. Venue details will be shared with enrolled families once all spaces have been filled and enrolment for the session is complete.
Tuition
• Tuition is billed monthly and calculated based on the number of classes scheduled each month. Enrollment is based on a 3-term commitment, allowing families time to settle in, build consistency, and thoughtfully assess program fit while still maintaining flexibility.
• No charges for days when classes are not held
Our Team
All sessions are led by an experienced early years educator with a strong background in child development and foundational skill development. Parents can feel confident that their children are guided with expertise and care.
