Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT)

Part-Time | Milton, Ontario | School-Year Program

We are seeking a warm, confident, and experienced Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) with a background in Junior & Senior Kindergarten.

The Ideal Educator:

  • Holds current OCT certification

  • Has experience teaching JK/SK or early primary

  • Values Montessori-style principles and hands-on learning

  • Believes in independence within structure

  • Creates calm, respectful, and engaging classroom environments

  • Communicates warmly and professionally with families

  • Is organized, reliable, and aligned with a boutique program model

Responsibilities:

  • Lead small-group enrichment sessions (2-hour program)

  • Guide literacy, numeracy, and inquiry-based activities

  • Support collaborative learning and positive peer interaction

  • Maintain a prepared, purposeful learning environment

  • Collaborate with the founder on curriculum flow and structure

This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys meaningful, small-group work and values depth over volume.

Part-Time / On-Call

Assistant / Substitute Educator

We are also seeking a nurturing and dependable assistant or substitute educator to support program days as needed.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with young children (JK/SK age group)

  • ECE background or education-related studies preferred

  • Calm, attentive, and proactive

  • Comfortable supporting small-group learning

  • Flexible and reliable
