This month, our theme is “Autumn Explorers” — a month of investigating seasonal changes, asking questions, and discovering how things work through hands-on learning. Children will continue building their literacy and numeracy foundations as we introduce new letter sounds, practise blending and reading simple words, develop sight-word recognition, and explore quantities, shapes, symmetry, and equal parts. Through STEAM explorations, children will investigate leaves, pumpkins, apples, natural materials, density, patterns, and symmetry through experiments, sensory experiences, art, and creative problem-solving. Along the way, they’ll continue strengthening independence, fine motor skills, communication, confidence, and curiosity while building on the foundations introduced in September.
